What is a RAID crossover?
A: Your RAID crossover recognises your existing qualifications from another agency and aligns them with RAID standards, allowing you to teach, assist, or operate under RAID without starting again.
Who can crossover to RAID?
A: RAID crossovers are available for dive centres, recreational instructors, technical instructors, freediving instructors, and Divemasters who already hold recognised qualifications.
Do I need to start from scratch when crossing over to RAID?
No. RAID crossovers are designed to recognise your existing training and experience. You’ll only be evaluated where alignment with RAID standards is required.
Do RAID instructors and Divemasters need a dive centre?
Only if it’s within the new two-month window. For example, you can process certification in July for a Course Of The Month in June and it still counts.
Can I create a RAID dive centre if I’m an instructor or Divemaster?
Yes. Many instructor-led operations start by creating a RAID Dive Centre and affiliating themselves to it before teaching or assisting.

Yes. Recreational and technical instructor crossovers follow different evaluation paths to ensure appropriate standards, experience, and teaching scope.
